About Holly McNeill
Creator of P.E.R.L.O.V.E. | Scholar | Speaker | Teacher
Holly McNeill once managed billion-dollar hospital projects—but despite her success shaping environments meant to heal others, her own inner world was quietly unraveling. At 34, she experienced what is now widely recognized as the quarter-life crisis—a collapse of identity, purpose, and peace that no amount of outward achievement could prevent. The life she had carefully constructed fell apart. And when it did, Holly made a vow: to rebuild something far more meaningful.

That vow became a 20-year journey. She left a toxic marriage and entered an eight-year legal and emotional battle for her children. Amid alienation and anxiety, she remained fiercely committed to uncovering peace and clarity from within.

While continuing her architectural career, Holly turned inward—immersing herself in the study of neuroscience, quantum physics, psychology, and spirituality. She practiced Buddhism for five years in the greater New York City area and, at 49, moved across the country to live in a Dharma house in San Francisco, deepening both her scientific and spiritual understanding of the mind.

Her journey brought her face-to-face with the subconscious beliefs and emotional patterns that silently shape our lives. From this transformation, she created the P.E.R.L.O.V.E. Formula—a clear, research-informed framework of mindfulness practices designed to help people pay attention to their thoughts, habits, and what they are creating. For in doing so, they can access greater clarity, peace, and joy.

Now a leading voice in the healing of the mind, body, and spirit, Holly blends the precision of her professional past with the depth of her personal evolution. As the Mindfulness Architect, she teaches others how to dismantle mental conditioning, release inherited narratives, and reclaim agency over how they think, feel, and live.

In May 2025, Holly was invited to speak at Yale University’s Women’s Mental Health Conference, where she delivered a featured talk on cognitive agency and the quarter-life crisis—further establishing her voice as a scholar and thought leader in the space of mental clarity and transformation. Her work is especially vital for those navigating the quarter-life crisis and beyond, offering a grounded, actionable path from autopilot to awareness, from overwhelm to empowerment—and redefining what it means to truly heal from the inside out.

“Once you understand how your mind works, you can begin to shine with your own light—and become the architect of your world.” ~Holly McNeill

"After a very circuitous route, I am so grateful to be here. And I can tell you beyond everything you do for yourself, mind training matters."
